A bit about me …

I’m an historical archaeologist, food historian, and digital humanist with a focus on food, immigration, and institutions in the British Empire. I did my PhD at Stanford University focusing on food and dining in an Australian immigration depot, and I’m now Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford Archaeology Center studying glass from the Market Street Chinatown. I’ve worked on archaeological projects across the world and specialise in artefact analysis in musuem and legacy collections.
